Dynamic suspension is a minimally invasive procedure in which special threads are placed in suitable planes under the skin to temporarily support mild to moderate tissue laxity. It is not equivalent to a surgical facelift, and the expected effect may be limited in advanced sagging.
What Is Dynamic Suspension (Thread Lift)?
Thread lift systems differ in terms of material, barb/cone structure, absorbability, placement plane and approved indications. The word “dynamic” alone does not indicate the technical features of the product used; the product name and traceability should be disclosed.
The effect is a combination of mechanical support and tissue response over time. If facial volume, skin quality and connective tissue laxity are not suitable, the result may be short-lived or insufficient.
Goals and limits of the technology
The result is temporary, and its duration varies according to the thread material, tissue characteristics and lifestyle habits. Promises of fixed permanence, such as six years, should not be presented as a personal guarantee.
Alternatives and complementary options
For mild laxity, energy-based treatments; for volume loss, fillers; and for significant skin and deep tissue laxity, a face and neck lift may be considered.

What is assessed during the examination?

How Does the Process Work?
- Entry points and lifting vectors are marked according to facial anatomy.
- After local anesthesia, the threads are placed in the appropriate subcutaneous plane under sterile conditions.
- The tension on both sides is adjusted in a controlled manner; excessive pulling is avoided and aftercare instructions are given.
Recovery and follow-up
Swelling, bruising, tenderness, a pulling sensation, temporary dimpling of the skin and tightness during mouth movements may occur. Restrictions on facial massage, dental procedures, intense facial expressions and exercise are specified according to the system used.
